About Laura
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and owner of Inclusive Pathways Therapy. I’ve been in private practice since pre-pandemic (the “Before Times”), and I’ve seen how much people’s needs and expectations have evolved.
I love sitting with people and coming to know them as a whole person. The best therapy starts with a human-to-human relationship.
My office is designed with adjustable lighting, comfortable seating, fidgets, and weighted sensory items to help you feel grounded and present to do your work.
My office is located within the Falls Church Wellness Center, a collaborative community of mental health professionals. I offer both in-person and telehealth options Monday through Friday, so you can choose what works for you.
I am constantly learning and seeking out new approaches and information. I engage in multiple clinical peer consultation groups each month to help me provide the highest level of care for my clients. I also often work with my client’s parents, partners, schools, psychiatrists, current/past therapists, doctors, etc. We all exist within a system, and I know your struggles are not just about your “mental health.” It’s also about your system’s health!

I’m interested in what you find most helpful in therapy and what you could happily do without (don’t be shy to name drop that one therapy style you can’t stand). Therapy should feel collaborative, personal, and tailored to you.
I integrate multiple approaches with each person. Some sessions we might be problem-solving about a present-day work stressor, crafting a reply to that family member’s passive-aggressive text, or helping you get in touch with your inner child’s deepest needs. Regardless, we start where you are are in the moment.
Therapy is a place to practice, not to be “perfect.”
I learned late in life that I am neurodivergent. I also have family members who are different flavors of neurospicy. These experiences have fueled my appreciation for each person’s story and the ways their identities intersect.
We were never meant to be all the same.
I support my clients to gradually let themselves be “messy.” It is by embracing the hard-to-love aspects of ourselves that we find ourselves most able to change and grow. The parts work I do with clients with Internal Family Systems, for example, leads to a deep self-compassion based on seeing all of oneself honestly (the good, the bad, and especially the “ugly”). I promise, I will not look away. I warmly welcome all aspects of you and know that they are all a part of you for a good reason.

I’m a daughter, partner, friend, and mom of two senior pups, Cali and Pikey.
I love the outdoors, the four seasons in Northern Virginia, trying new foods, and playing games with friends.
