Inclusive Pathways Therapy
Affirming therapy for autistic, ADHD, and neurodivergent teens, adults, and couples
Falls Church, VA
Hi, I’m Laura!
I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), and I opened Inclusive Pathways Therapy to create a space for neurodiversity-affirming therapy and deep trauma healing.
I am passionate about therapy that considers the whole person and their lived experience.
I would be honored to work with you.
Meet Laura
I help neurodivergent teens, adults, and couples make sense of their experiences, build self-compassion, and create a life more aligned with their values and needs. My office and my approach are designed to accommodate different nervous system needs.
It was master therapist, Irvin Yalom who said “It is the relationship that heals.” Many of us try to handle everything on our own, often because we’ve been hurt or let down before.
We’re not meant to do it alone.
You might see yourself here if...
You feel chronically exhausted, even when it seems like you “shouldn’t” be.
You constantly wonder if you're "too much" or "not enough.”
You are self-aware and insightful, but it doesn’t translate to easing the struggle.
You feel like you've spent so much of your life performing that you're not sure who you really are anymore.
You don't know whether you're anxious, autistic, dealing with trauma, or all three.
You’ve tried therapy before, but it didn’t help or you feel like a “therapy failure.”
You’re a parent of a neurodivergent child or teen and you’re exhausted from trying so hard to support them.
You’re in a neurodivergent or mixed neurotype couple, and you worry that you or your partner will be misunderstood in couples therapy.
I believe humans are meant to exist in many, many ways. There is no one right way to do this life, and there is no one right way to do therapy.
I love working with neurodivergent folks. In fact, I only discovered and honored my own neurodiversity when I began to focus my work on autistic and ADHD people.
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy views neurodivergent traits as part of identity, not pathology, and focuses on supporting safety, autonomy, and well-being instead of masking or “fixing” differences.
My clients are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, PDA, dyslexic, and intellectually disabled.
My clients come from all backgrounds and experiences. Many are LGBTQIA+. And many have experienced trauma.
I support healing from a body-based and emotional level. Many of my clients are already excellent at understanding themselves intellectually. I integrate and adapt multiple approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (attachment-based therapy), Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (“parts work”), and mindfulness skills.
I am a lifelong learner. I believe there is no “too late” in life to start.

When I say I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, I mean:
I actively welcome and celebrate your exploration and identity. I will not rush or presume your process. My stance is informed by science, research, and experiences of the queer community. I continue to seek to deepen my understanding of experiences of the queer community.
